Vale Dame Dr Jane Goodall
It is with deep sadness, we acknowledge the passing of Dame Dr Jane Goodall, a towering figure in global conservation and a beacon of hope for generations. Her tireless work to protect chimpanzees and advocate for the natural world changed the course of history, and her legacy will continue to inspire long after today.
We were privileged to meet and be inspired by Dr Goodall on several occasions, each time moved by her grace, wisdom, and unwavering commitment to the planet’s most vulnerable species. Her encouragement and insight were especially meaningful to us in our own conservation journey to protect the orangutan (Tears in the Jungle) and we found deep resonance with her mission.
Dr Goodall believed every individual makes a difference — and she proved it, time and again. Her voice gave strength to the voiceless, and her life reminded us that compassion and science can walk hand in hand.
We honour her memory, her memory, and her magnificent contribution to conservation. May her legacy continue to be an inspiration for many others to follow.
Rest peacefully, Dr Goodall. You changed the world
