267 Students on one Zoom Call

Daniel and William were invited to take part in a Q and A Session with the students in middle school at Preston High School in Victoria, during the COVID lockdown with 267 students all dialling from home.

Every student logged in to listen to the boys story and how they began their journey to save the critically endangered orangutan. They spoke about their challenges and successes, especially this year after being awarded the 2021 Queensland Young Australians of the year. They also spoke about how that platform has allowed them to create greater awareness for the survival of orangutans and how they hoped to inspire the youth of Australia to become passionate about their environment. The teachers were thrilled with the students conversation and questions.

Thank you Preston High School for your enthusiasm for the environment, lets hope, with everyone’s help, the orangutans can be taken off the critically endangered list.
