After being awarded the NSW Pride of Australia Medal, Daniel and William have been nominated as finalists in the National Pride of Australia Medal (Environment Category).

As part of the Pride of Australia Award Ceremony, the ‘People’s Choice Award’ category winner, voted by the people of Australia, will be able to nominate $10,000 to their favourite charity!

If Daniel and William win the People’s Choice Award, they have nominated The Orangutan Project Safeguard Program as the recipient of the $10,000 which will protect 33,000 acres of rainforest and help safeguard the critically endangered orangutan habitat.

  1. Daniel and William’s quest is so interesting. It is unbelievable how big a difference they are making at such a young age. Well done boys and keep up the amazing work. I am going to stop buying products with palm oil to show my support. 😀

  2. I think what Daniel and William are doing a very good thing by supporting the orangutans. Everyone that is able should help show their support, make donations and buy some stuff too. We shouldn’t buy products with palm oil in them, that would encourage the logging of rain forest. 🙂
