We are so excited that Kia Motors Australia and Col Crawford Lifestyle Cars have got behind Daniel and William’s quest to save the orangutan and are sponsoring the Tears In The Jungle, Country NSW & ACT School Talk Tour starting next week.
Kia Motors have loaned a beautiful Kia Grand Carnival for the purpose of the tour and have done an incredible job of sign writing the car with the name of the boys book, “Tears In The Jungle” on every side.
As we drove home people were stopping to look at the car and in particular the beautiful face of the baby orangutan on each side (below). It certainly is eye catching and am sure that it will do a lot to keep the awareness of the issues facing the orangutan front and centre in everyone’s mind.
Daniel and William’s Country School Tour commences next week and starts at Jervis Bay, then on to Temora (central NSW) to talk with two schools then down to Canberra where they are talking at two school to over 1,200 students as well as appearing at the Paperchain Bookstore for a book signing on Thursday 28th (5:45pm).
Daniel and William have given up their school holidays to do five schools in five days and will be addressing an estimated audience in excess of 4,000 people. They are hoping this tour will raise awareness and support for the orangutan as well as inspire children to find and follow their passion. We will be posting daily updates on their progress on their Facebook page so please ‘Like’ them and follow their amazing progress.
If you are interested to have Daniel and William come and talk at your school please have your school register their interest HERE.
